A group of Natalie Wood letters and photographs
Comprising four autograph letters signed, a typed letter signed, a 1959 Christmas card from Wood, a 1959 Christmas card from Robert Wagner, six signed photos of Wood, 32 snapshots, postcards and publicity photos, and a small group of other celebrity signatures. All were collected by Janet Shull, a Kentucky woman who was an ardent fan of the actress (her 1961 Natalie Wood Fan Club membership card is included in this lot), and corresponded with her regularly. The letters are dated 1958-'59 and discuss Wood's work on Cash McCall (1960) and All the Fine Young Cannibals (1960), among other subjects. The signed photographs include two of Wood and Wagner's 1957 wedding, one of the couple at the registry office (signed by both) and a second of Wood in her wedding dress. Also included in the lot are a group of other celebrity signatures collected by Shull, including those of Richard Chamberlain, Peter Fonda, Ernie Kovacs, Ronald Reagan, and Nancy Davis (Reagan).
