A Tarzan and His Mate screenplay

MGM, 1934. Typed carbon, 97 pages, dated May 10, 1933, an early draft of the screenplay by Oliver Garrett, bound with brads in blue wraps marked "vault copy," with yellow revision pages bound in. This script is probably cobbled together from two or more versions, and is apparently lacking the final few scenes. The last Tarzan movie produced before the introduction of the Motion Picture Production Code, this film features a famously erotic scene of Jane (Maureen O'Sullivan) swimming underwater naked.
8 1/2 x 11 in.
