A mid 19th century Indian silver two-handled covered bowl and stand
apparently unmarked
Circular form and having applied handles formed as coiled snakes, the separate cover with slightly dome chased with a band of fruiting vine tendrils on matted ground with pointed acanthus leaves below a cast scroll-work finial, the base with floral flutes, supported on a three-legged stand, gilt wash to interior, height 22cm, weight 24.33oz.
