A matched set of four George III silver cluster column candlesticks,
one pair by Maurice Rogers of Sheffield, London 1772 and the second pair by William Hancock and John Robottham, Sheffield 1773
The drip pans with scalloped and beaded edge on pierced palmate capitals with cluster columns raised on square bases decorated with paterae and medallions hung with garlands within bead borders, loaded, height 31.5cm. (4)

One pair is by William Hancock & John Robottom, Sheffield 1773, the other pair, London 1772, are by two different makers; one has maker's mark MR - possibly the mark of Mary Reasey and the other is IH possibly the mark of John Holloway.
