It is unusual to find examples of fine porcelain specifically dated to the Xuantong reign, the last reign of the Qing Dynasty. Compare a very similar bowl dated to the Tongzhi reign illustrated in Treasures in the Royalty: The Official Kiln Porcelain of the Chinese Qing Dynasty, Shanghai, 2003, p.431.
