Ten blue and white dishes set within a pierced hardwood two-leaf screen

The porcelain 18th/19th century
The ten dishes each similarly painted in underglaze blue with lotus blossoms amid scrolling foliage, five with Daoguang marks and of the period, four with Xuande marks and dating to the 18th/19th century, and one with a Jiaqing mark and of the period, and each set within a reticulated square panel carved with a bat and two peaches in each corner, the two central panels also flanked by panels containing a carved vase filled with a lotus pod and flowers, all the panels forming a hinged wood screen, three separate wood stands. Without stands 94.5cm high x 116.4cm wide (37 1/5in high x 45 4/5in wide) (4).

Buyers' Premium and Charges

Buyer's Premium Rates
28% on the first £40,000 of the hammer price;
27% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £40,000 up to and including £800,000;
21% of the hammer price of amounts in excess of £800,000 up to and including £4,500,000;
and 14.5% of the hammer price of any amounts in excess of £4,500,000.
