A famille rose pear-shaped vase

Cyclically dated dinghai year (AD1947), signed and sealed Zhang Zhitang, seal mark Yitao Zhai
The body enamelled in delicate shades of green, grey, beige and blue and touches of rose pink with a continuous landscape scene with a lonely fisherman punting across a misty lake besides a small dwelling hidden amongst rocks, pines and willow, the mountains in the background fading to soft grey and an inscription above the lake.

二十世紀 粉彩山水圖瓶 「張志湯」款

款識: 春到人間饒富麗,柳花煙雨總宜人。丁亥年(1946)春月,星江張志湯寫於珠山客次。
印文: 志湯、亦陶齋

The inscription may be translated as:

The coming of spring is very beautiful,
the willow-cotton, the fog and rain are always pleasant.
In spring in dinghai year,
written by Xingjiang Zhang Zhitang, being a guest at Zhushan.
