A rare documentary bronze figure of Buddha

Dated by inscription to the second year of Longqing (corresponding to AD1568) and of the period
The Buddha cast with eyes looking calmly downwards, the right hand raised in abhaya mudra and the left hand resting with the right middle finger raised towards the thumb, the robe with an incised floral border folded over the left shoulder and spreading evenly over the feet, the bottom of the lotus pedestal incised at the front with the inscription Longqing er nian zao.
