Ming Dynasty, seal mark Daming
The small bowl raised on a high foot and cast with four mythical qilin prancing through foaming waves, the details embellished with gilding, between two bird-head ring handles, the reticulated cover with a dragon and a phoenix encircling the finial formed as a lotus-seed pod. 12cm (4¾in) high (2).
