A rare partially-gilt incense burner
17th century, cast Yunjian Zhu Zhenming zhi mark
Of archaic bronze gui form raised on a slightly-splayed foot flanked by a pair of stylised dragon handles, cast with three registers of gilt-relief decoration, the body with two winged dragons encircled by various mythical creatures on an intricate wave ground, beneath a band of simplified dragon scrolls and above a foliate scroll border, wood stand and cover.
22.6cm (9in) wide (3).
