Compare a related cloisonné enamel gui, but with enamelled rather than gilt handles, Jingtai mark and dated as early Ming Dynasty, illustrated in the Compendium of the Collections in the Palace Museum: Enamels 1: Cloisonné in the Yuan (1271-1368) and Ming (1368-1644) Dynasties, Beijing, 2011, pl.23. It is also interesting to compare the very similar lotus blossom design on a cloisonné enamel gu vase, dated to the early Ming Dynasty; and the similar cloud scrolls on a cloisonné enamel tripod bowl, dated to the early Ming Dynasty, both illustrated by the Palace Museum in ibid., pls.20 and 46 respectively.
