A pale green jade archaistic incense burner and cover

Late Qing Dynasty/ Republic
The stout censer crisply carved around the body with an elaborate band of stylised chilong flanking a diamond-shaped floral medallion beneath a foliate swag at the rim, each handle formed as a ring suspended from a dragon's mouth, all raised on three curved feet each issuing from the head of a Buddhist lion, the cover with a coiling Buddhist lion with a cub playing on its back above a band of foliate swags, box.
