A group of eight jade, jadeite and hardstone archers' rings and two jade belt hooks

18th/19th century
Comprising a pale green jade archer's ring encircled by a writhing dragon, 2.5cm (1in) high; a pale green jade archer's ring carved in low relief with a scaly dragon and cloud scrolls, 2.5cm (1in) high; a black jade archer's ring with two horses, 2.5cm (1in) high; a yellow and russet jade archer's ring with five coins, 2.3cm (7/8in) high; a white jade archer's ring with the russet skin forming the flattened side, 2.8cm (1 1/8in) high; a jadeite archer's ring with a russet-coloured character Zhang, 2.8cm (1 1/8in) high; a white russet and green mottled jadeite archer's ring, 2.7cm (1 1/8in) high; an agate archer's ring with a bearded Immortal riding a Buddhist lion, 2.5cm (1in) high; a pale green jade belt hook with a bat above a taotie mask on the head and a reticulated foliate scroll with a bat, lotus pod and opening box on the shaft, 10.8 (4¼in) long; and a black and grey jade belt hook carved as a chilong looking at its young, 11.3cm (4½in) long.
