A pale green and russet jade Buddhist lion

17th/18th century
The animal deftly carved recumbent with leaf-shaped ears and protruding eyes, holding a lingzhi spray in its mouth, the elaborately-incised tail curled over its haunch, the stone of pale tone, wood stand.
