A gilt-bronze and pale green and spinach jade rectangular box and cover
The jade 19th century
The high cover formed as a frame mounted on five sides with reticulated jade plaques, the two long sides each with a single pale green jade plaque carved with three of the Eight Buddhist Symbols, bajixiang, with the remaining two symbols on the plaque forming the top of the cover, each between spinach jade plaques at either end, the short ends of the cover similarly designed with a pale green jade plaque formed as a shou character set in a spinach jade surround. 22cm (8¾in) long (2).
