A rare yellow jade archaistic flattened vase and cover
18th century
The yellow jade attractively mottled with natural chestnut inclusions and carved as an archaistic vase decorated in relief with a wide band containing two confronted chilong dragons in each side of the vase beneath a narrower band with archaistic dots, the neck flanked on each side by a dragon handle and the cover with a coiled chilong forming the finial above a narrow band of archaistic dots.
