Eight jade carvings of Mandarin ducks or geese

Ming Dynasty and 18th/19th century
Comprising a fine white jade Mandarin duck holding in its beak a sprig with a large lotus leaf, wood stand; a creamy-white jade Mandarin duck drilled in the centre to be used as a pendant, wood stand; a streaked russet jade Mandarin duck holding an ear of grain in its beak; a fine pair of very pale green jade Mandarin ducks, with stylised lingzhi-shaped wings, wood stand; a pale green jade goose, the wings with archaistic C-scroll design, wood stand; a green jade Mandarin duck, holding a lotus sprig in its beak and resting on a lotus leaf; a white and chestnut jade goose with a lotus sprig in its beak, beside a chilong grasping at the flaming pearl, wood stand; and a greenish and brown jade carving of a Mandarin duck, wood stand.
The largest 5cm (2in) wide (15).
