18th/19th century
Carved from a pale green stone as two smiling boys holding a large stalk of lingzhi over their left shoulders, the larger boy with a tree shrew also balanced on his left shoulder and holding a three-legged toad in his right hand, the smaller boy feeding a small bird perched on his left knee. 5cm (2in) high
