A Korean inlaid green-glazed circular box and cover

12th/13th century
The cover with a central floral medallion surrounded by four roundels each containing three flower-heads and alternating with four cranes in flight, all encircled by decorative bands at the rim, the box also with a decorative band at the rim. 8.2cm (3¼in) diam. (2).
