A peachbloom-glazed waterpot, taibai zun

Kangxi
The domed body incised with three archaistic dragon medallions, covered with a glaze of soft rose tone thinning to a paler grayish tone of red at the neck and shoulder, the mouth rim glazed white and the base plain.
12.7cm (5in) diam.

Compare a very similar waterpot dated to the Kangxi reign, included in the Catalogue of the Special Exhibition of K'ang-hsi, Yung-cheng and Ch'ien-lung Porcelain Ware from the Ch'ing Dynasty in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1986, no.10.
