A fine and rare flambé-glazed vase, hu

Incised Qianlong seal mark and of the period
The rounded tapering body crowned with a moulded double bowstring border rising to the high shoulders and tall cylindrical neck with a lipped rim, flanked by a pair of loop handles, raised on a short splayed foot, covered with a rich streaked reddish glaze highlighted by areas of lavender splashes, the handles and rim thinning to a mushroom tone also on the base. 21.8cm (8½in) high high
