Four Egyptian glazed composition 'Sons of Horus'
Third Intermediate Period, circa 1079-800 B.C.
Comprising Imsety (human-headed), Hapy (baboon-headed), Duamutef (jackal-headed), and Qebehsenuef (falcon-headed), each of pale blue glazed composition, wearing a black tripartite wig and a bright blue broad collar, each standing on a small plinth, with attachment loop on reverse and a neb sign, 6¼in (15.9cm) high (4)

These four figures would have been sewn onto the mummy bandages each correlating to a separate internal organ: the liver, lungs, stomach and intestines which would have been embalmed separately.
