A Syro-Hittite silver fertility goddess
Circa early 2nd Millennium B.C.
Flat-cast, with stylised features, the round face with protruding round eyes and prominent nose, wearing a headdress and a separately-cast torque, with square shoulders and small breasts, the pubic region indicated with a triangle, the legs tapering to a tang below the feet, 5in (12.5cm) high
