A pair of Parthian gold and garnet earrings
Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Each earring composed of a disc with filigree border, decorated with an oval garnet cabouchon set in a high bezel, attached to a pendant comprising a square box with six hollow globules, with sparsely applied granule decoration, on a plaited gold wire hoop, both 1¾in (4.5cm) long (2)
