A 12 gauge English boxlock shotgun by E.J.Churchill

Serial no. 2024, 12 gauge. 26 inch blued barrels, the concave rib showing slight traces of markings. Birmingham Nitro Proof. Extractor. Automatic safety. Double triggers. Signed boxlock action engraved with borders and small panels of scrollwork. Checkered fore-end and straight-grip stock of dark walnut. Checkered butt.
Condition: Very good as partly redone. Reblued barrels. Bright bores. Action cleaned to bright metal and showing some very light pitting. Refinished triggerguard showing considerable wear to engraving and markings. Refinished and recheckered stock and fore-end.
