A 20 gauge Grade 2 L.C. Smith sidelock ejector shotgun

Serial number 206840, 20 gauge. 28 inch side-by-side Damascus barrels with single brass and single ivory beads, the matte rib marked Hunter Arms Co. Fulton, N.Y. Ejectors. Non-automatic safety. Double triggers. Casehardened sidelock action engraved with panels of scrollwork, the locks with circular panels of game birds. Checkered walnut fore-end and pistolgrip stock. White Line brown rubber buttpad.
Condition: Very good. Barrels retain much of the partially faded Damascus finish. Bores with scattered marks and light rings. Action retains some silvered traces of casehardening. Fore-end with scattered minor marks. Buttstock refinished, the checkered probably refreshed.
