A .30-06 Newton First Type Standard bolt action sporting rifle

Serial no. 882, .30-06. 24 inch tapered round barrel with single standing/single folding leaf rear sight and marked Newton Arms Co.-Inc./Buffalo/N.Y./30 U.S.C. Blued finish. Action mounted with J. Unertl Hawk 4x telescopic sight on Redfield mount. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock with schnabel fore-end and White Line brown rubber buttpad.
Condition: Very good. Retaining most blued finish showing edge and muzzle wear and some minor spotting. Clean bore. Scope with excellent optics. Stock showing numerous light marks and damage to varnish.
