A flintlock pistol

The 7 inch two-stage .62 caliber smoothbore barrel with slightly swamped muzzle and slight engraved decoration. Engraved lock. Iron triggerguard and buttcap of crude form, the full walnut stock with checkered grip and fore-end and no fitting for a ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Metal with dark patina showing areas of light pitting. Wood with dark patina showing numerous light marks.
