A flintlock pistol
early 19th century

Tapered, round 6 1/2 inch .58 caliber barrel with sighting rib. Brass lockplate showing slight traces of signature and engraved at the stepped tail with a quiver of arrow. Simple brass triggerguard with pineapple finial. Silver ramrod thimbles. Full walnut stock with bag-shaped butt. Horn-tipped ramrod.
Condition: Very good. Barrel with dark patina and areas of light pitting. Stock with scattered light marks.
