A U.S. Model 1814 Henry Deringer flintlock rifle

The 33 inch two-stage barrel in .54 caliber, the breech marked F/P/US, the latter double stamped. Reconverted lock marked with large US over H. Deringer/Philada. Iron furniture, the barrel bands held by stud fasteners, the triggerguard tang with finger grooves. Full stock with rounded cheekpiece. Brass-tipped ramrod.
Condition: Good to very good. Barrel showing scattered light pitting and portions of older rebrowned finish. Reconverted lock has been cleaned bright and shows areas of pitting. Sharp markings throughout. Furniture has been cleaned to bright metal and shows light pitting overall. Stock with scattered light marks and doweled repair to crack at wrist.
