A fine National Arms Company No. 2 derringer

Serial no. 6983, .41 caliber. Blued barrel engraved with scrollwork and marked National Arms Co. Brooklyn, N.Y. German silver sight. Scroll-engraved and silver-plated frame. Checkered walnut grips.
Condition: Excellent. Barrel retains 99% deep blue-black finish showing edged wear and some light scratches on the underside. Frame with dark, unpolished patina. Grips retains most varnish with a few small dents to rim, the right side with shallow gouge between checkered panels.
