An assembled British diplomat's uniform

Comprising: 1) Black beaver fore-and-aft hat trimmed in black tape lace, the front with black gimp button, white silk lining with label for Cater & Company of London. With associated tin transit case, the front with brass label engraved C.C. Bigham Esq./Grenadier Guards. 2) Black wool tail coat, fully lined, red wool facings embroidered with gold bullion lace, label with inked inscription Major the Rt Hon/Lord ---/Jan. 1912, gilt brass buttons molded with the Royal arms and back marked for Pitt & Company, London. 3) Pair of black wool trousers with gold tape lace stripes.
Condition: 1) Hat fine. Case with scattered marks. 2) Minor wear and staining. 3) Fine.
