A bearskin busby for the Royal Fusiliers with japanned tin case

Comprising: 1) black bearskin, the side with white feather plume, the front with gilt brass and blue enamel grenade molded with the regimental crest and motto; brown leather-backed brass chinscales and brown leather sweatband. 2) tin transit case, the top stenciled J. Empson/Royal Fulisiers, the back with remains of labels On Her Majesty's Service, Alders--, London and South---.
Condition: Bearskin fine, the sweatband with some scuffing/wear. Case with numerous dents, marks and chips to finish.
