An American militia cartridge box

The body formed from a single piece of oak pierced with 17 cartridge cavities. The black leather flap lid attached by brass-headed studs, the front adorned with circular brass and iron plate.
Condition: Leather showing surface scuffing and flaking. Missing the belt loops.
