An inscribed U.S. Marine Corps Pattern 1831 enlistedman's buff leather waist belt
circa 1880-1910

The plain, rectangular brass waistbelt plate, reverse with tongue and belt loop; white buff leather belt, the interior with inked inscription W.A. LeForestier/Private U.S.M.C. with an id number.
Condition: Brass with dark patina, leather with some light staining.
