A Model 1872 New York state militia cavalry enlistedman's kepi by McKenny & Son

The blue wool kepi with brass cavalry insignia, black leather chinstrap with brass buckle and New York state buttons; thick black leather brim with reinforced rim; interior with brown leather sweatband and leather crown marked J.H. McKenney & Son/Military Goods/141 Grand St./New York.
Condition: Generally fine, showing some mothing on backside, sweatband with small resewn tear.
