The gold bullion epaulets with gilt buttons bearing an eagle with branch initial A, lined in red leather and red silk, the bars marked Horstmann Brothers & Allien/New York With original japanned tin case with copper maker's label listing No. 7/Bond Street/New York address. Lid with scratched legend J.P. Moore/N. Britain/Conn.
Condition: Epaulets excellent, case with some dents and scratches.
