A rare Civil War camp bed belonging to Captain Richard Hale Ives Goddard

Having a folding wooden frame with mattress of blue and white striped material stuffed with horsehair. Frame fitted with four leather straps for securing bed to a wooden frame, now lacking except for one strut. The underside stenciled Bazar de Voyage/Paris. Together with it's canvas carrying bag, one side stenciled in black Lt. R.H.I. Goddard/Maj.Gen. Burnside's Staff.
Condition: Showing some staining and wear.
