A rare silver-mounted presentation U.S. Model 1902 saber for all officers

Slightly curved 34 inch blade with 18 inch panel etched with scrollwork and panoplies of arms, one side with US, the other inscribed Presented to First Lieut. James A. Turner/by Members of Troop. B. N.G.M.O. 1912. Ricasso marked E.A. Armstrong/Mfg. Co./434-440 S. Wabash Ave./Chicago, Ill. Sterling silver three bar hilt. Elephant ivory grip decorated with foliage. With brown leather sword knot. Silver two-ring scabbard, the drag marked Sterling.
Condition: Excellent blade with few light scratches below point. Grip with chip to one side below pommel. Scabbard with deep dent 6 inches above drag.
