A Civil War era non-regulation foot officer's sword

Slightly curved 32 inch Iron Proof blade with etched panels of scrollwork with US and Federal eagle. Ricasso with maker's markings of W. Clauberg and with brass Proved disc. Variant brass hilt of British form, the guard incorporating an engraved cut-out of Lady Liberty with a Federal eagle and US at her feet. Grey shagreen and copper wire-wrapped grip. German silver two-ring scabbard with iron drag.
Condition: Blade with dark, mottled patina, some wear to decoration, a few tiny nicks and slightly bent point. Hilt with dark patina and scattered small marks. Grip wrap scuffed but sound. Scabbard with several small dents above the drag.
