A lot of two Civil War era cavalry sabers
Comprising: 1) U.S. Model 1860 cavalry saber by Mansfield & Lamb, 35 inch blade, ricasso with maker's markings and U.S./C.E.W./1964; three-bar hilt, pommel marked 36; with reproduction black leather sword knot; leather and wire-wrapped grip; nickel-plated scabbard. 2) Unmarked Model 1840 cavalry saber; curved 36 inch blade, three-bar hilt of standard pattern; grip retaining portions of leather wrap; no scabbard.
Condition: 1) Blade with some light spotting; brass with unpolished patina; grip with some repair to leather; scabbard with 70% frosted nickel remaining. 2) Blade with light spotting; hilt slightly bent.
