A Japanese Naval officer's kai-gunto

Signed 26 inch blade showing strong temper line. Standard gilt copper naval mounts, the grip retaining the rayskin and brown fabric tape wrap. Scabbard with standard gilt copper mounts and brown rayskin covering.
Condition: Blade showing small areas of light pitting/staining and some light scratches. Hilt and scabbard mounts retaining traces of gilt finish. Grip wrap stained. Scabbar dwrapping showing tears and losses.
