A George V officer's sword for the Royal Artillery

Straight 34 1/2 inch blade, the lower 16 inches etched with panels of strapwork and on one side with crown and Royal Cipher over motto Udique and a field gun, the other with regimental badge and Royal/Artillery; ricasso with brass proved. Nickeled three-bar hilt of standard pattern, the grip wrapped in grey shagreen and copper wire. Russet leather-covered scabbard with German silver throat.
Condition: Blade with scattered minor spotting. Hilt showing frosting and some dark spotting to finish. Grip wrap with some areas of wear. Scabbard showing scuffing and old repair above tip.
