Case no. 241178, Movement no. 348996, made for U S Army Corps of Engineers, No. 2861, circa 1917
20-jewel gilt half plate lever movement with polished steel single button chronograph work planted on the back plate, bimetallic balance with overcoiled spring and micrometer regulator, pin set, signed silver cuvette, white enamel dial with fifth seconds ring enclosing bold arabic chapters with luminous fill, blued skeleton arrow hands with luminous fill, blued sweep hand, subsidiary seconds, substantial silver snap back case engraved for the Corps of Engineers. 52mm
