Footnotes
Richard Mille brand was launched in 2001, using innovative techniques inspired by Formula One racing and the aeronautic industry. Richard Mille watches employ very unique materials chosen for specific purposes to improve efficiency, comfort and reliability such as Alusic or carbon nanofiber. In ten years, the company has achieved a large following among watch collectors because of this new approach to watchmaking.
The reference RM005, introduced in 2005 is the first watch with 3 hands and a date. It was also the first watch which did not have a chronograph function and/or a Tourbillon.
