Footnotes
Introduced in 1955 as its flagship model, the Ingenieur is fitted with the caliber 85, a proprietary automatic movement housed in a soft-iron inner case for protection against magnetic field. This caliber was the first bidirectional automatic movement. Its winding system which features a rocking bar and rollers was introduced by the famous company technical Director Albert Pellaton and set new standards in watchmaking.
