Gilt bridge calibre movement jeweled through the center, plain gold balance, pin set, guilloché translucent enamel dial with arabic chapters, gold scroll hands, gold case with chased wreaths around the bezel enclosing a panel enameled with the arms of the Canton of Neuchâtel. 30mm

The annual Shooting Festival at Neuchâtel from 16 to 28 July 1898 was an important event as it marked the 50th anniversary of the independence of Neuchâtel from Prussian rule. The pageantry was commemorated with medals, souvenir albums and diverse souvenirs such as the present pocket watch.
