ulumaica, of typical disc form, the periphery with a narrow flat edge and the two surfaces slightly convex; smooth and pitted dark-gray stone.
Provenance:
Julius Rodman, author of Kahuna Secret Sorcers of Hawaii
Robert Lee Eskridge (1891 – 1975), an American painter born in Philipsburg, Pennsylvania who traveled extensively in the South Seas. He moved to Honolulu in 1932 and taught at the University of Hawaii. His murals are in the Ala Moana Park Sports Pavilion in Honolulu.
