the elegant zoomorphic female head with a serene, expressive face with carved eyes, an elongated nose and diminutive mouth, the recessed facial plane below carved brows and finely incised coiffure above a carved relief motif on the forehead, the top with finely carved horns curving in towards each other forming a circle and with incised lines on lower area, the verso with a smaller zoomorphic head with beard and horns of similar form, fine and subtle incising overall lower areas of the pulley, scarification and relief between brows and on neck, pierced for suspension; fine aged, glossy dark-brown patina.
