heights 10 and 11in (25.5 and 28cm)
probably Akye, each with adjustable arms attached by nails, a leather thong to hold a red cloth at front and back, voluminous pointed breasts and each face bordered by diminutive demilune ears, with long, slender noses bordered by wide squinting eyes, one figure seated on a stool with a tripartite coiffure, the other standing with a hollow, circular coiffure on top; varied dark brown patina.
